Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Speckled Band and Roald Dahl’s Lamb to the Slaughter
by HxC Jam, Jun 15, 2008
Lamb to the Slaughter and The Speckled Band are both murder mysteries, written in different eras by different authors. Despite their differences, they both contain the classic characteristics of a murder story: a helpless victim, a suspect, a number of red herrings and a detective, or detectives, who have been employed for their special interest in the case.
