What could make a good honest man sacrifice is one and only son? The poem “The Parable of the Old Man and the Young” shows its true meaning by showing how prideful decisions lead to Abrams demise, how the use of imagery adds to showing that prideful decisions lead to Abrams death, and how pride affect me in my life.
