The novel The Chosen, written by Chaim Potok, is a story of two Jewish boys and their different religious views. But though they are different in many ways (their upbringing, their view of the Mosaic Laws and their view on a Zionist state), they are surprisingly similar.

Silent to the Bone, is a fictional mystery, written by E. L. Konisburg, about a thirteen year old boy. The story mainly takes place at the Juvenile Behavioral Center, Branwell Zamborska, is being held there because they think he hurt his baby half - sister, Nikki.
