This book was Harry, Ron and Hermione's last year at Hogwarts. Ultimately they decide not to go that year. Instead they go off in search of a way to defeat Voldemort.. Later in the book Harry, Ron, and Hermione find themselves back at Hogwarts while on the brink of war with the death eaters.

Shortly after Harry runs into his old teachers and professor Snape (the new headmaster) appears. The other teachers and Snape fight and Snape flees. Meanwhile Dumbledore's army (led by Neville Longbottom) prepares the castle for war, and evacuates all students under 17. In the end of the fighting Harry and Voldemort face off in the Great Hall and Harry triumphs over Voldemort and kills him once and for all.

Harry Potter Vs. Twilight

Harry Potter Vs TwilightYes there are many of us out there, who will go crazy for HP and Twilight. I have not yet read all the twilight books but I have read all the HP ones. To me, it's pretty much the same thing, I don't mean the story of both books, I mean it's kind of the same scenario where they start off as books then go into movies, and also all the screaming fans. They both attract different crowds though. Harry Potter is pretty much all ages girls and guys. While twilight attracts girls. I have not yet read the Stephanie Meyer series but I am planning on it soon because of all the hype it's getting and all the good reviews. So what I want to ask you, which author or book do you prefer? J.K Rowling and her magical world? OR Stephanie Meyer and her romantic vampires?

Harry Potter: The Great Creation

Harry potter is a character portrayed in the novels that have been written by J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter is a book as well as the main character in the book. I really like these books because they are real mystery/thrillers.

Harry potter along with his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley go on a quest to defeat the dark wizard Voldemort who is the most dangerous wizard alive. This wizard had also killed Harry's parents long before Harry went to Hogwarts which is the school of witchcraft and wizardry.

After accomplishing many things and going through dangerous activities they do accomplish the task given. They collect the horcruxes which are objects with the fragments of Voldemort's soul.

Harry Potter along with his trusted friends go through many hardships and they also take help from the great headmaster, Dumbledore. Dumbledore is portrayed as the most powerful wizard alive until obviously he dies after getting killed by Severus Snape.

I really like this book and I also like the movies which are action packed. Great plot was made and the story was told really well. J.K. Rowling has made one of the greatest and the most action packed books in the world. This book would be given an 11/10.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

“If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write things worth reading, or say things worth writing about." In his house, while perfecting one of his famous inventions, said this quote a famous inventor everybody knows about, Benjamin Franklin. The author of this book must have acknowledged this, because she wrote something that's worth every minute of the reader's time. This book is really something everybody should read, because it has plenty of irony, and it's full of parts where you just can't put it down.

In addition to irony and excitement, this book also has parts in it that keep the reader from getting to the climax straight away, thus inclining the excitement even more. For example, in one chapter, somebody close to Harry Potter (the main character) dies during a fight, and they had to escape. The author then tells about how abnormal it was, that, instead of using a wand, a great wizard like Harry Potter would bury a body the old fashioned way: with a shovel. After this, through patience, for about 2 chapters, the book describes the area, which they chose to hide out in, against the evil wizard. It is also good to mention, the intensity with which the dark wizard drives throughout the story, as he is trying to get his pound of flesh which he had been waiting for, for over 10 years.

Although some people would argue that this is a bad thing, and that they should just get on with the rest of the book instead of describing something like that, nothing could be further from the truth; in fact, it is absurd to think that making a story descriptive would be a bad thing. The more the story slows down, the more exciting it will be for the reader when it speeds up again. This book has about as much of this, as there can be in a story. Which is what makes it perfect. It can also be mentioned that there is not a lot of sangfroid in the thoughts of the kids. Most of the time, the main character is trying to get some vitriolic humor out of the events happening. This really adds some more excitement on to it.

On the other hand, one thing a good critic might argue is that the book pushes the limits on describing events. There are a few places in the book that are dry; they are mostly trying to urge the reader to imagine the area/territory that they are in. For example, if they were to hide out in a forest, the book would tell you what kind of trees were around them, flowers, and if any animals were in the area. In chapter nineteen of the book, entitled “The Silver Doe,” they are hiding in a grassy, forest area, and, in my perspective, the author spends too much time describing the area. If the reader is reading the book for excitement, he will not enjoy hearing about how many bushes and trees there are around the kids, and talking about how tenuous the surrounding area is.

This book can be something everybody who's into fantasy should read, because of all the excitement and irony in it. Through reading this, the reader will gain some understanding on what it feels like to lose a loved one. This is a good every day lesson, because tragedies can happen anytime, anyplace, and to anybody. The book gets 5 stars because of the excitement it causes.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Book Discussion

Harry was at:

In September

This picture reminds me of this book because it looks like Professor Dumbledore. It looks like him because he has a beard just like I pictured it. He has on robes, just like everyone in this book. He has a wand because it's a magic book, and he has a hat, like a wizard. He looks a lot like what I think he would look like mainly because this picture is so detailed. The beard is really convincing, and the hands are really detailed. Another reason he looks like Dumbledore is because this isn't a silly picture, like most of the pictures on Clip Art. Dumbledore is very calm in this book. It looks like he's calm in this picture to me!

This looks like Hermione because Hermione always gets good grades, and in this picture the girl is holding a paper with “A+” written on it. Hermione always studies so she always gets good grades. Another reason this looks like her is because she gets excited when she gets good grades. She should get them, though, she studies enough. Another reason she looks like Hermione is because she is skinny and the hair. The book describes her as skinny and has brownish hair, and that's what this picture looks like. Hermione's best friend is Harry. Her second best friend is Ron. She's just like both of her friends in two reasons. First, she's in Gryffindor. Second, she hates Draco Malfoy.

This person reminds me of the meanest characters. No, not Voldemort. This picture reminds me of Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy is a person in Slytherin. He is very mean. His two best friends are Crabbe and Goyle. Draco Malfoy is Luciuce Malfoy's son. This picture looks like Draco because he leads the crowd all the time. If he picks on Harry, everyone else picks on Harry. Plus he has the same color hair of what it describes.

This reminds me of Harry Potter because of his happiness. He looks really happy in this picture, and to add on to it, he even has a wand. He looks just like he's supposed to look! Skinny and black haired, only thing different is he's not wearing robes and he doesn't have a scar that shows up in this picture. Harry was the one who had the bad life. He had to live with the Dursleys. The Dursleys were mean people who hated wizards. Harry had good things, too. He didn't get killed for the second time, he has two very good friends, and he's famous! His best friend is Ron Weasley. Ron isn't as rich as Harry, but they are still best friends. Harry's second best friend is Hermione. Hermione always likes to study and read books. She always gets good grades.

This picture reminds me of Mr. Weasley. Mr. Weasley is Ron Weasley's dad. He works for the Ministry of Magic. His department is in Misuse of Muggle Artifacts. Another reason he reminds me of Mr. Weasly is his clothes. The Ministry of Magic is like the Government. He has to dress up because of that. His hair is red, too, that's just like in the book. Ron is red headed, too. Mr. Weasley's wife is the one who showed Harry how to get to platform 91/2. That platform is the one to get to the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwarts Express is the train that takes you to Hogwarts.

Harry Potter 8: Another Delivers?

The 8, after the Deathly Hallows, would propose us Harry's life at time when adult, in family, but especially without the presence of Voldemort! I know, it can seem a little annoying, but, what's the use as you know it, Harry Potter goes out with Ginny in the 6th volume. We suppose a relation more developed in the future (I say it for those who still have no 7th volume).

Relationships?

We also suppose a connection Ron-Hermione. Harry Potter will become auror (he will become the leader of the department), Ron, as for him, will become too an auror (on the other hand, he will not be the leader) whereas Hermione will become the leader of the department of the protection of the magic creatures. (Let us not think of the house elves!!) in an interview, J.K. Rowling explains us that the book will rather be quiet, relaxing …

The next generation?

Maybe we shall see the kids of Harry going to Hogwarts … Maybe it will be their adventure! We hope that we shall learn more other characters, as Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, Seamus Finiggan I think that Draco Malfoy will belong to Azkaban, the prison of the magicians

The ancestors!

We see at the end of the 7 that the kids of Harry are Albus, James and Harry. His parents reborn!

Harry Potter Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling is a fictional story about a young wizard, by the name of Harry Potter. The story takes place somewhere around London. This book is the sixth book of the Harry Potter series. In this book Harry Potter finds out that his enemy, Lord Voldomort, is back and he is trying to kill Harry. So the headmaster of Hogwarts, Harry's school, tries to help Harry to defeat Voldomort. But Harry runs into some obstacles on the way.

The story starts out with Snape, one of Harry's teachers, talking to his friends and saying that Lord Voldomort is back, and that they need to help him catch Harry. Then all of a sodden the story goes to the Dursley's house, Harry's aunt and uncle. Dumbledore, Harry's headmaster at school, is trying to get the Dursleys to let Harry come to school for his sixth year. But they won't let him go. So Dumbledore does some magic and gets them to let him go. After Harry and Dumbledore leave they go to a man named Horace Slughorn's house to get him to teach at Hogwarts. Dumbledore and Harry talked Slughorn into teaching and they went on their way.

On Harry's first day at school he forgot his potions book for Mr. Slughorn's class. So Slughorn gave him one of the used ones. Inside the book there was a name that read, the Half-Blood Prince. There were also writings on the inside that gave Harry hints on how to make some of the potions. When he used the hints his potion always turned out right.

Because of all the talk that Voldomort was back, Dumbledore gave Harry some private lessons to help him defeat Voldomort. In those lessons Dumbledore and Harry went back in time, into peoples memories. These memories told Harry things about Voldomort's past, and how Harry could defeat him. Dumbledore and Harry figured out that Voldomort had created things called Horcruxes.

Horcruxes were a part of the person's soul that made them. I meant that unless Voldomort's Horcruxes were destroyed he could never die. They learned that Voldomort had six of these Horcruxes, and Harry had already destroyed on of them in one of the other book. So Dumbledore and Harry tried to figure out what the other Horcruxes were.

While all of this was taking place one of Harry's enemies and classmate was creating something in one of the rooms at Hogwarts. Harry tried to figure out what it was but he couldn't. Then one night Dumbledore told Harry that he fond out where one of the Horcruxes was, and that they needed to go get it. So the went to a cave that was far away from Hogwarts. Inside the cave they found the Horcrux. They tried to destroy it but couldn't. So they went back to Hogwarts, where they ran into some of Voldomort's followers.

Dumbledore was very weak from trying to destroy the Horcrux. Snape, who turned out to be a follower of Voldomort killed Dumbledore. Harry ran inside and there were more of the bad guys fighting the students and teachers. The bad guys finally left but there was a lot of destruction and some dead people.

It turns out that the thing that Harry's classmate was making was a portal to get Voldomort's followers into Hogwarts. It also turns out that the Half-Blood Prince was Snape. Then the next day after all of this had taken place, the people of the magic world buried Dombledore.

I really enjoyed the book. I have read the other five Harry Potter books and I think that the whole set is interesting. The author always kept me on the edge of my seat. I was always wondering what is going to happen next or, what is going to happen to that person. The author really put detail into explaining things. I can imagine in my head what the scene would of looked like. I can't wait to get the next book. The only one that Harry thought could help him defeat Voldomort, Dombledore, is dead.

Harry Potter, the Beginning of the End

Harry Potter, the Beginning of the End

Children around the world have been waiting for the last installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is the last book of the series, which is causing both excitement and sadness. Will Harry die in the final book? Will Lord Voldemort get what he has wanted for so many years?

Will Harry Die?

Some of the most popular theories are that Harry will kill the evil Lord Voldemort but will lose his own life in the process. But if Harry dies that will cause a great disappointment for some fans who want to see the hero defeat the villain in the last book. Another theory is that Harry will not kill Voldemort but merely send him to the wizards’ prison Azkaban or some other means of imprisonment.

Will any of the Other Characters Die?

The author J.K. Rowling has said that yes another character will die but we do not know which. It could be someone who is close to Harry himself for instance, Hagrid who has been a loyal friend ever since he rescued Harry from his horrible aunt and uncle. Another would be Ron and Hermione Harry’s two best friends. And of course there is Severus Snape the not-so-nice potion’s teacher/ former death eater, whom Harry despises, he is believed to be on the good side but many think he is still part of Voldemort’s death eaters.

Release Date?

We do not know the release date at this time but it is expected some time late this year, another theory being that it will be released on 7/7/07 because this is book 7 of the series, Voldemort had 7 horcruxs and with 7 being the most powerful number it would make since, but that is only a theory and we will continue the make theories until the book is released until then we can just enjoy the beginning of the end.

J.k.rowlling the author of these spectacular books was not a rich lady to start with. She was a widow with a Son and she was fond of writing since she was young the first book she wrote was about a bunny. She said that when she was traveling in a subway she thought of a book that contained magic and witchcraft and wizardry. She also said that she thought of all the character present in the book was thought about in the 2 ½ hour journey in the train.

She then began to write her first book titled “Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone” That was the biggest hit of the year and now she is writing her 6th book.
