"We affect each other in more ways than we can imagine"
Th1rteen R3asons Why is a dark, suspense-packed novel written by Jay Asher. I haven't read the book yet, nor have i talked to someone who already did. But just reading the synopsis makes me want to have it.
The rules are pretty simple. There are only two. Rule number one: You listen. Number two: You pass it on. Hopefully, neither one will be easy for you. (from Cassette 1: Side A)
It is about this girl who committed suicide. Days after, her boyfriend Clay Jensen received an anonymous package with seven audio tapes in it containing Hannah Baker's 13 reasons for killing herself. Each reason points to one name on Hannah's list of people contributing to her suicide. Surprisingly, Clay is one of them. In order to understand, he must listen to Hannah's 13 stories and take in everything -- her sorrows, her anger, and her secrets. Only then can he finally let go.

Sounds exciting enough. I just wish it will live up to my expectations.I haven't read a good book lately and I'm dying to get my hands on one. The last good book that I've read is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie and I read it just because of my infatuation to the movie Identity with John Cusack and Amanda Peet. I read in the credits that the movie was based on the book so I immediately scavenged the book stands in AS Walk and got a yellow-paged copy for a mere 60 bucks.
As for my current novel of interest, it would make a great birthday gift for myself.
Oh & this is coming from someone who doesn't like reading at all.....which shows exactly how good this book is.
