Ticking Time

I don't want to know what the world has in store.

Time ticks away no one really knows why
For me I guess it's because we are born,
grow, then shrivel up and die.
Heartless I maybe but that's what I get
When I look into the eyes of everyone I see.
I don't want to know what the world has in store
For me I believe life should be a mystery.
