63 Hours

About someone I met during some trip, and eventually became a part of me.

It was on the third day of June,
When you and I first met.
My heart sang a different tune,
That I would never forget.
I was attracted to you by the mere fact,
That I recall your face somewhere else.
And when you showed me such act,
You're a gentleman, my heart tells.
“I've got a crush on you,”
Said my young little heart.
But to tell these words to you,
I don't know where to start.
But I intend to tell you, you know,
About what my heart really tells me so;
But I'm running out of time to let it show,
Cause I know it's already time to go.
Nevertheless, I would really love to have you,
As a friend across the miles.
And those 63 hours I spent with you,
Made my trip worthwhile.
