The Capital Punishment

A debate on what the punishment for murder should be.

Death

Put yourself in the shoes of a person whose father had been murdered, would you really want to see that person released from prison and walking the streets freely? Some people say to give 2 chances, would you give the Taliban 2 chances? Or Saddam Hussein? Think about what they could do if they were released from prison because of the public's vote on life imprisonment. I personally think death is the appropriate punishment for people who do this kind of stuff.

Life Imprisonment

Being a person who believes in death I might not be able to argue this point as well. Do you think that mentally disabled people should be killed when they don't even know what is right and wrong? How'd you feel if someone you knew, or even loved, was sentenced to death because he got out of control in a fight? 25 years in prison may be able to convince people that what they did was wrong, and that they won't do it again. Giving a person a second chance to redeem themselves might make them change there ways.

Please vote and answer truthfully on what the punishment should be.  State your reason.

Thank you.

I think it should be death because I'm in tears when I'm writing this because my mom was murdered when she was little and the guy who did it is siting in a house under house arrest.
