Room One by Andrew Clements

I just read this great mystery book called Room One by Andrew Clements.

Room One is set in Plattsford, Nebraska. In the town there is a shrinking school which only has 9 kids left in the one room school-house. 4 of these students are 8th graders and once they leave, the school will close.

The 6th grader, Ted Hammond, is a mystery fan and when he sees a face from the Anderson's house, he sets to work immediately because the Andersons moved out 2 years ago and no one should be in the farm. There are 4 words here that helped me understand Room One a lot. The first word is observation.

A detective needs to carefully observe and remember clues which is what Ted does. The second word is clue. This is a simple but key word since it's a mystery book, and mysteries always have clues to help the detectives. The 3rd word is
