National Novel Writing Month Must-Haves

Read this to find out what do u need to succeed in writing a GREAT Novel.

Now that you are struggling to complete that 50,000 word novel (or novella) I am sure you are looking for some guides to help you sail through the process.

While there is so substitution to actual writing, here is a list of books on writing which will help you generate a plot, work on the dialogue and also create some interesting characters.

  • The Complete Handbook of Novel Writing: Offers great advice on developing a strong plot, working on the craft of writing and the process of getting published. Written by published authors, there is a chapter by Tom Clancy, this book is a great resource for those starting out their first novel.
  • Everything Guide to Writing a Novel by Joyce and Jim Lavene: Kind of basic help on getting started. Great help if you know nothing about writing a Novel.
  • How to Write A Damn Good Novel II by James N. Frey: A good guide from award winning writer, useful only if you have some kind of experience writing fiction.

Happy Noveling..
