- Get out your handheld blow dryer and hold it about an inch from the surface of the sticker. Turn it on high and hold the heat on the sticker for thirty seconds.
- The heat from the blow dryer should soften the adhesive so you can gently pull up the corners of the sticker.
- Remove the sticker by lifting the corners and pulling towards the center first from one side and then the other until the sticker is completely off. If the sticker doesn't come off easily, apply heat for another thirty seconds and try again.
- Once the sticker is removed, there may be some residue left behind. Get a bottle of Goo Gone from your local hardware store and apply it with a paper towel the residue. Rub lightly until the residue is gone.
- Polish the dust jacket by rubbing with a soft, cotton bath towel or wash rag.
