Do you regret not having more time to read? With a full time job and family responsibilities, you may have little free time left to sit down with a good book. Fortunately, there are a variety of ways you can more reading done and still be a good employee and family member. Here are some ways to make more time to read:

  1. Visit Amazon.com for Their Book Summaries

    On Amazon.com, you can read summaries of all the books you've been longing to read. Sometimes a well written summary of a book is all you need to glean the information you're looking for. Plus, it's completely free.
  2. Take Public Transportation and Read During Travel Time

    Why not take public transportation such as a train, bus, or subway to work where you don't have to do the driving? This will allow you to relax and get some morning reading done. You can explore other times, places, and even other galaxies before you even get to work.
  3. Read at the Exercise Club

    Hop on board your favorite exercise machine with a good book and sweat away. Somehow exercise seems less of a chore when you have a good book with you. Just make sure you keep moving while you're reading. No cheating allowed.
  4. Listen to Your Books

    Do you drive to work on a daily basis? Why not listen to audiobooks during your drive time? These days you have a host of audios to choose from in both fiction and nonfiction categories. You can even check them out of your local library free of charge. Use your commute time to learn something.
