Of course, the best selling book is the bible. It has sold very many copies. Before the 1900's, books were a luxurious item. If you had a library, it showed you had very much money. But in the 20th century, they came out with paperback books, and with their cheap prices, many people could now own books.
One of the best selling books, is Lord of the Rings. It has sold46 million copies, the last 14 million copies only sold after the movies came out. Many people like the lord of the rings series. I really like it.
Other books that sold over 10 million or more copies. One of them is Gone With the Wind, i realy liked the movie of this it was realy entertaining. The second is the Da Vinci Code. I havent seen or read the movie, so i cant realy say anyhting about this book, but i do want to see the movie.
