"The Secret" is extremely appealing in comparison to its competitor, Mr. Lou Tice's “Thought patterns”. It sounds just so simple. No work, no effort just stop think, imagine, ask, wish, attract, be happy and obtain what you want! Clearly all this is for greed.
Can you honestly attract happiness? The Secret surely says it's a must; you must be at peace with the universe and yourself before your genie grants your wishes. This is when Lou's affirmation process comes in great; improve your self, think highly of your self. The true secret to the secret is self-confidence. With that you can achieve greatness. Each of these programs have inspired me in different ways, one needs and wants the other improving myself…
I am very aroused by both concepts, being a Christian I truly believe that both of these work, however I believe that God is the answer to my thoughts; and my thoughts and affirmations are done in the form of prayer. God is my genie and my affirmations-the driver of my thoughts is done through the Holy Spirit, or as said in Utah the “Holy Ghost.”
